Back in 1876 a man called Johannes Coenradus Klene started making liquorice sweets. He invented many classics and to this day he still makes the one and only, real and original Dutch liquorice.
Klene – “Sugar Free”
Although Johannes Coenradus Klene built this gigantic machine himself, he’s still surprised by the massive taste he manages to get into his tiny sugar free liquorice treats.
Voice-over translation:
